Born and raised in the greater Atlanta area, I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2022 and transitioned abroad to the University of Haifa, where I completed my Master of Public Health program in August 2023. A few months later, I relocated to New York City, where I currently work as an administrator for an after-school program that teaches elementary schoolers about nutrition, fitness, and the food system.

While I was living in Athens, Georgia, I became interested in public health when I began working for a non-profit called the Culinary Kitchen of Athens (CKA). There, I learned about complexity of food insecurity and the social determinants of health. I served mainly as a grant writer for CKA, but I was able to help with all sorts of projects. This experience completely shaped my worldview and redefined my professional interests. I carried this interest in public health to New York, where I currently plan, implement, and evaluate an after-school program that teaches children of an underserved population about the importance of nutrition and fitness.

I am also proud to have experience with sales, social media management for a research foundation, and content writing.
