My Review of The BANSHEES OF INISHERIN (2022)

This is horror for people who are insecure in their friendships, it's a comedy movie for nihilists, a rollercoaster for animal supremacists, a magnum opus for admirers of face twitching and drinking outdoors. Which is more interesting, comedic or dramatic? This movie makes me wonder if there's a difference. Do I know how to write anymore? If Colin Farrell can put decades into a friendship for it to eventually turn out like this, then what's the point of caring about that or anything else. Is this cohesive? Will anyone read it? I wish there was a thing on Letterboxd that told you how many people read a review. Speaking of wanting validation, why did Colm care so much about writing that song if he lives on a tiny island where no one will hear it?
